What is Adult Foster Care?

Adult Foster care is a licensed sheltered living arrangement for adults who have special needs or impairments that makes is impossible for them to live alone. This might include people who have physical, emotional or developmental impairments. Adult foster care homes provided five basic services: room, board, supervision, protection, assistance with money management and personal care.
